the effect of quran in ibn-e hisam’s khavar-nameh

“ibn-e hisam-khosfi” is a poet of ninth hijra century who composed “khavar-nameh” in describing imam ali (a.s) and his followers’ braveries and battles as approach and style of ferdousy’s shahname. in this rhymed piece, he did not only consider expressing the story sufficient but also made an effort to publish the religious and moral concepts and utilized a lot from quran to express these concepts which shows his mastery of this heavenly book. among his poems, topics about religious principles: monotheism, prophethood, resurrection and justice are observable, also imamate principle is the basis and foundation of this book and as he says, from each image he brings into imagery, the main intention is the love of imam ali (peace be upon him) and his innocent family. in addition he was not negligent of expressing moral and social principles such as: frugality, wisdom, un-attachment to the life…according to quran. also everywhere, he pointed the prophets’ stories. although this rhymed piece of art is one of the most important sectarian religious- epic works, it has not been investigated very much and mostly remained obsolescent and today it is anonymous even for many of people.
